Matthew Higginson - Untitled Demo

This is a song I put together one afternoon, I am experimenting with solo work, very minimal out of the studio kind of material. I want to continue in the direction of the vocals and bring more instrumentation in. This was a rushed project, also I'm very self conscious so I can only really work when I'm alone. goddamn I need a cabin, and perhaps some free dollars? hmm..
Silversun Pickups - Panic Switch (Bobby Evans Rmx)

Is it just me, or are these guys becoming more and more like Placebo of the late 90s vintage? This song fucking rocks, I don't care how many summers ago they were for me, this song brings them back to the forefront of my sonic experience. The remix isn't as good as the original, but it's whats up. Different. Deal.

community art project

I am putting together a study of communities, specifically and geographically speaking it will be in the areas I frequent; how convenient. I am intrigued by the notions of communities, especially ones so bitterly dysfunctional as down/slightly mid town living seems to be. I'd show you the images, but they are locked in celluloid, soon to be freed, my imagination. I like documentary style vs portraiture a la a woman who's name escapes me. degenerates, what do you have to offer?

also homeless people and dregs love to have their photo taken. it gives them a new grip on life. they feel important. fuck you old lady who said otherwise, you're just bitter no one wishes to document your wretched face. bacon time.

50 awesome sequences

To be completely honest I didn't know what to expect from the tights-eye-view of the IRA conflict(s), but a solid depitction could have used more ultra violence. A great story, strong character development well shot. Thought it could have been beter acted by kingsley, and hurt locker is still my seasonal flavour of this age. More from a wedding to come?

muse muse musings

Today was a random day. Work ended early. Oddly enough. Good conversations with good people kept me leveled, and the sun filled me with its rays. Park camped in Kensington and decidedly made a move away from a childish indulgence. I'm set; convinced the best way to find an ideal partner in this life is to agree on what you both hate. Hate will keep us together. Love always tears us apart. And apparently Curtis always drives Nat to a taste for blood and ultra violence. The division sleeps alone tonight.
